immediate relief vehicle for Puerto Rico, 03:13.297 --> 03:15.662 I'll discuss some of those details 03:15.662 --> 03:19.037 if we wanna get into that, but essentially for that 03:19.037 --> 03:23.204 we are asking at least $4.6 billion in immediate relief 03:24.779 --> 03:27.598 so that we can start mitigating the effects 03:27.598 --> 03:30.805 of the disaster and on the economy for Puerto Rico. 03:30.805 --> 03:34.055 There is a longer term recovery package 03:34.320 --> 03:36.863 that should be coming after that. 03:36.863 --> 03:39.910 For that to be effective we need to have better data 03:39.910 --> 03:42.910 on what the damage is in Puerto Rico 03:43.647 --> 03:46.314 and therefore asking congress to 03:48.009 --> 03:52.176 treat the citizens of Puerto Rico equally to other states. 03:52.249 --> 03:55.130 And there is a liquidity issue as well, 03:55.130 --> 03:59.297 and what we're doing is we're working with the treasury. 03:59.990 --> 04:02.003 I've spoken to the Secretary of the Treasury 04:02.003 --> 04:05.482 and our teams are working to identify mechanisms 04:05.482 --> 04:08.510 so that we can supplement our liquidity needs 04:08.510 --> 04:10.010 in the short term. --> 04:22.239 from people 04:24.499 --> 04:28.666 that either food delivery that's been delivered by FEMA 04:28.856 --> 04:32.496 to municipalities is not getting to the people 04:32.496 --> 04:34.246 or, at the same time, 04:35.495 --> 04:38.162 in terms of complaints by stores 04:39.350 --> 04:42.100 that are either charging the tax, 04:43.333 --> 04:46.446 the consumption tax, or that are raising prices 04:46.446 --> 04:50.613 that are not following the order of freezing of the prices 04:51.514 --> 04:55.681 or freezing gains with the gasoline distribution, as well. 04:58.170 --> 05:00.232 So there have been complaints 05:00.232 --> 05:03.149 of poor management in these fronts. 05:03.892 --> 05:06.179 So what are we gonna do about it? 05:06.179 --> 05:08.736 In terms of the municipalities, we're going to send 05:08.736 --> 05:12.069 our National Guard to the municipalities 05:12.282 --> 05:14.612 to be part of an effort and help 05:14.612 --> 05:16.835 the different municipalities get more visibility 05:16.835 --> 05:19.137 and distribute food more effectively 05:19.137 --> 05:21.008 to the people of Puerto Rico. 05:21.008 --> 05:22.425 I have also asked parts of the government 05:52.966 --> 05:56.066 to be deployed to these municipalities 05:56.066 --> 05:58.835 so that they can make proper accountability 05:58.835 --> 06:01.154 of the food that is 11:15.880 This was due to a lack of synchronization 11:16.826 --> 11:19.153 and of course potentially weather patterns 11:19.153 --> 11:21.986 that were affected in Puerto Rico. 11:22.863 --> 11:26.879 What this demonstrate is the fragility of our system. 11:26.879 --> 11:30.989 It is important to recognize that just putting the system 11:30.989 --> 11:34.559 back up is not gonna fix the are over our expectation on that front. 18:13.094 --> 18:14.712 In terms of refugees and shelters, 18:14.712 --> 18:18.045 we have 116 shelters and 6,908 refugees. 18:20.625 --> 18:23.296 Our objective was to have 130 shelters working, 18:23.296 --> 18:24.796 that was achieved, 18:29.262 --> 18:31.903 and we'll continue on with the efforts of consolidating 18:31.903 --> 18:34.786 different
